Turn Bill Collectors into Sales Completion Specialists

In reality, the extension of credit is not only one of the most powerful tools in the distributor’s sales offering, it is also the lubrication that makes the supply chain run smoothly. Past due invoices are still customers; unfortunately, we often treat them like debtors. Credit management should not be about risk mitigation, it should be recognized as one of the greatest opportunities for sales enhancement. This is where we can help.

Based on the field developed, time proven and copyrighted Profit System of B2B Trade Credit and A/R Management, our goal is to create a paradigm shift in your company. During the on-site visit, we will provide top business managers with new understanding of the credit function, and insights on how to turn bill collectors into Sales Completion Specialists. We will cover major components and goals of trade credit and A/R management, introduce you to new procedures, provide hands-on training, as well as new profit directed monitoring tools and performance measurements.


On-Site Agenda

 Day 1

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM                     Training Session
During this three-hour session, key employees will be exposed to The Profit System of B2B Trade Credit and A/R Management. We suggest the President along with top managers from sales, operaitons, customer service, and finance attend this meeting. 

1:00 PM-4:00 PM                         Executive Summary
This half of the day will be dedicated to developing basic policies and procedures around the extension of trade credit and management of accounts receivable. We will develop goals and opportunities for sales enhancement. 

Day 2

9:00 AM-12:00 PM                       Application
This final half day will be dedicated to applying the principles of The Profit System to existing past due invoices. We will work shoulder to shoulder with your new sales completion specialists to ensure that they feel comfotable making calls to your customers. We will coach on resolution techniques and conflict management, as well as opportunity discovery.

Follow-Up Coaching
In order to gain the maximum return on your consulting investment, we have added a follow-up coaching element to the program. Most companies are enthusiastic during the on-site visit, but struggle to fully implement the procedures past 30 days. Over the next three months, your team will receive six, one hour follow up calls along with unlimited email support. This service is typically billed at $550 per month, however it is included in the package.


Your investment for this consulting engagement is $6000 plus travel expenses. We do everything in our power to minimize these costs. We think like distributors, we understand small business needs. Our goal is to help you turn accounts receivable back into a profit center.
